Colours of Autumn at Fab'n'Funky Challenges

Good morning, I'm delighted to tell you that Fab'n'Funky Challenges are back after our summer break!

This fortnight our lovely Pat is hosting and she's picked one of my favourite themes-

  Autumn Colours.

I'm always a bit sad to see the end of summer but I do love the wonderful colours that Autumn brings, I dug out my Lavinia stamps and stencils and had a lovely inky time playing with them.  I used glitter pens to colour the fairy's wings and flicked some gold glimmer paint over the finished card. (It's meant to spray- but doesn't...I've tried everything to unblock the nozzle but no luck so I flicked it from a brush instead!)

Please do hop over to Fab'n'Funky to see the beautiful cards my lovely teamies have created, you won't be disappointed and I'm sure you'll be inspired to play along :)

I'm just back from holiday myself, a lovely week in beautiful Devon. The weather was great, we met up with friends, talked our heads off and ate too much! We enjoyed some lovely walks with Marvin who had a wonderful time- on the beach every day- he LOVES the sea- playing and swimming. I'm happy to say that he was as good as gold all week- probably because he was worn out!

On the beach paying with his precious ball!

Thanks for visiting, have a good day

Chris

I feel just like you when Summer comes to a close but absolutely love crafting for Autumn with it's rich warm colours.

You have built the Lavinia scene up beautifully and The Wallace Family a perfect addition, many thanks for sharing and joining us at We Love Stamping.

Pleased you had a good holiday, Marvin certainly looks to be enjoying himself. Our new family member Hamish is currently in Italy at Lake Maggiore and loving his water sports I'm told. Meanwhile Alex is running up the mountains in a 52 mile ultra marathon, as you do.

Fabulous card Chris, beautiful fairy scene and lovely colours. So glad you had a good holiday and had some of the late summer sunshine, Autumnal feel to the weather this week and the nights are drawing in so quickly now we need to take advantage of whatever sunshine we get.

Hi Chris,
oh my word this card is gorgeous and beautifully stamped and inked too.
I love your fab scene you have created and the colours are so Autumnal as well.
Glad you had a wonderful holiday Marvin was enjoying the seaside wasn't he but then dogs love the water.
I remember when I was younger and able I used to look after my Son's 2 dogs and while walking them on the first day Bill decided to go into the dike and came out all smelly when I got back to my Son's garden I had to hose hime down.
I learned my lesson after that and kept him on the lead when passing that part of the walk.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Your card is absolutely beautiful, a delightful scene created with these gorgeous Lavinia stamps.
Makes me sad too that Summer is now officially over. Hoping for many sunny fall days to come so we can enjoy the beautiful colors of fall. Some years we had warm weather until November but some years it snowed mid- October too...you never know here in Illinois, USA.
Thank you so much for sharing with us at Four Seasons challenge!

Wow what a stunning card Chris, I absolutely love this and all the stamps that you have used too. You've captured that light and shade so perfectly too.
I'm sad to see to warm weather go as I don't cope with the cold very well but I do love Autumn and all those glorious colours, so special. Lovely to see Marvin happily playing in the sea too, he's so adorable I bet you can't imagine your life without him now. Michelle x

Great card and what a cute doggie! Thanks for linking up last week at Crafting Happiness Challenges. This week the card theme is trees - it can be a forest, a leaf, a Christmas tree, etc. The Not a card theme is always anything goes and doesn't have to follow the theme. Hope you'll share more of your art with us! Sorry for the delay in commenting, but we've been in the process of moving and still trying to sort and unpack this week.
