I have a bone to pick...

Good morning, I hope no one is superstitious as it's Friday 13th today! If you are just stay in bed until tomorrow- it should be safe to get up then!
There's a new challenge starting at Crafty Catz today- sponsored by the fabulous

Prize 2 images from the shop

Billie is our host this week and her optional theme is 'add an animal'.
The team were given some fun images to play with- I  chose to use A bone to pick, couldn't resist this greedy little dog! My Marvin would LOVE a bone as big as this- he's a greedy little guy too! I used my copics to colour him up to look like Marvin- note those gleaming white teeth- Marvin's actually do look like that - so shiny, white and sharp! I think it's all the bones, dental sticks and chew toys he has because he won't let me get near them with a toothbrush! (well, that's not true- I can get near then he snatches the brush and chomps it up which I don't think is the way you're meant to do it!) I truly admire anyone who manages to clean their dog's teeth with a brush and doggy toothpaste!
I fussy cut the image and popped it up on foam for a little dimension, and added it my layered panels of DP , a stamped image and some stamped and fussy- cut  bones to finish.

You'll find plenty of inspiration from my lovely teamies over at Crafty Catz- as always the theme is optional so I hope you can find the time to join in this week.
Thanks for stopping by-
have a lovely weekend
Chris

That doggie image really is such fun Chris and the design works really well to showcase it. A&C have some new dog stamps launching in a week and they are gorgeous, I'll be sharing shortly.

Love your fun card depicting Marvin. He doesn't seem any the worse though for not using a tooth brush so he must be doing something right! Hugs Mrs A.

What a darling card, Chris! Loving the fun layers (you always put on your sweet cards) and the craziness of the paper directly behind this chomping puppy! Our GSD is going to be 13 next month, and has never had anything done to his teeth (for the same reason you gave). We did give him small pig ear chewies until he started swallowing them whole LOL a few years ago. But I think his food was the main reason (aside from good genes, just like humans). You did a great job adding the extra little bones to bring your bloggy title to the front! LOL Wonderful card, my friend! (BTW, I did not send Christmas cards to my UK friends, not because I wasn't thinking of you, and being grateful for your friendship, but because of the strike - didn't want you to think I'd forgotten you!) xx
