Good morning, whew, what a scorcher it's been this week! Definitely not complaining though I hope it doesn't get any hotter, forecast is for cooler temps next week but still good with lots of sunshine.
The theme at Sweet Stampin' for this fortnight is very apt- You are my sunshine, so use at least one stamp, follow the theme and you're all set to join in!
A lot of my card is hand drawn, the circle for the sun and the doodled rays and lettering around the edges, some of the patterns between the rays using an orange glitter pen. I used stamps for the sentiment, masked off some sections and stamped the rest of the patterns in orange. The yellow background is coloured with pencils.

The weather has been boiling, the last two days my garden temp guide reached 104 degrees, it got the better of me I will be honest, but its been beautiful.....just wish I was on a beach paddling :))
Such a cheerful and creative interpretation of the theme! I love how you combined your hand-drawn elements with stamping to create such a playful and cohesive look. The orange glitter pen adds such a fun sparkle, and your lettering and doodles around the edge really bring the sunshine vibe to life. This card radiates positivity!
It definitely has been hot but since my mini strokes I can't stand being out in the sun for long sadly. Your sunny card definitely gives off the heat-love all the hand drawn elements, doodling and added stamps. Thank you for your comments and congrats to your Granddaughter been chosen as Player of the Season. They certainly make us proud .
