No squares at Fab'n' Funky.... and say hello to Marvin

Good morning, another easel card from me- this one's my DT card for this week's challenge at Fab'n' Funky, this week our lovely and very talented Pat K has picked the theme of No Square cards. I made this for a friend's birthday, I found the image on Google and coloured it to look Ted her beloved Cockapoo- Ted loves a tiny bit of cake (well probably he would love a large piece but doesn't get the chance!) Papers are from an LOTV pad, and the sentiment is stamped.

Now for my news- we have a new puppy!!!!

This is Marvin, he's a Red Fox Labrador and will be 9 weeks old on Thursday, he is a total sweetheart and  so far his behaviour has been impeccable ....

Thanks for visiting, have a happy day.

Chris

Oh My! So excited for your Chris. What a handsome guy your Marvin is. My friends just go a teacup chihuahua and I'm afraid to pick her up she's soooo small. LOoks like your going to have a busy time.
BRIlliant shaped card! LOve your cheeky image and great design.. Should imagine it would eat the full cake if it could lol.

What great news, Chris! Your little Marvin is darling! Well behaved, huh? That's especially good news, and works well with your puppy theme! I have never heard of a Red Fox Lab before, and I must concur that their coloring is pure gorgeousness! I wish you many happy years together! Your friend will treasure the customized card, and as always, your coloring is just amazing! huggers, de

Another great shape to make this style of card, what a gorgeous image, my youngest Grandson would love that, he is sick for a dog but Mum says no but she was the one who begged and begged for a dog and we relented and got Queenie. Your new puppy looks so cute.
