Good morning, I recently won a challenge at Day of the Month Card Club and was invited to be a Guest Designer for them this month, thank you ladies.
The August challenge has two themes, you can choose one or combine them both.
I chose the lighthouse option although there is some beach here too. The lighthouse stamp is a magazine freebie from several years ago, I've used watercolours to colour it and create the sea and sky and added a die cut border. The frame is stencilled using a Polkadoodles stencil and Distress Inks.

A wonderful scene, I love lighthouses, they are fascinating things and yours looks beautiful, love the way the steps travel down to the beach, would suit me down to the ground. ( apart from when the tide is in of course ) enjoy your day. xx
You've combined several techniques so beautifully to make this striking scene. Love it.
It's not always easy to color with watercolors, but you did a great job and it all looks very real. A very impressive card and we are delighted to have you as our guest designer this month.

Wonderful light house image. This reminds me of my grandma. She loved light houses and was buried by one. Every time I see one I think of her.
