Whatever the weather at Fab'n' Funky

Good morning, there's a new challenge starting today over at Fab'n' Funky
hosted by our lovely Pat. Her chosen theme is
Whatever the Weather.

I chose to make a Christmas card as I'm sadly behind this year, I hate having a last minute panic to get them done, it takes all the fun out of it for me!  The cute snowman digi is from QKR Stampede and the background 'snow' lettering is a homemade stencil cut on my (sadly neglected) Cricut machine. I cut the word once on a small piece of card , removed the letters and inked through the negative with Distress Ink, moving the stencil down the card and trying to fade the ink slightly as it got nearer to the snowman. I added die cut snowflakes to the 'O's.

There's more inspiration from my teamies over at Fab'n'Funky and we'd love to see what you make of this challenge!

Thanks for visiting

Chris

Hi Chris, that's a really great card - love the stencil / fading effect! You are really very good for making your own Christmas cards, I might have said (possibly?!) it's not something I enjoy!

Chris: Thanks for including MTTCC in the linkups with your adorable Let It Snow Christmas song themed card! I'm like the other previous commenters with loving and drooling over how your stenciled the sentiment word 'snow'. Excellent! --Becca/DT for MTTCC
