Crafty Catz Challenge #616- Optional twist- Blue and Silver

Good morning- just one month to go now until Christmas day- time to start panicking about getting everything organised on time. I still have so many gifts to buy- mainly because it seems to get harder each year to know what to give family and friends- probably because we all have too much already!

Anyway, here's another Christmas card- my DT creation for this week's challenge at

 Crafty Catz

which is sponsored by

Jan’s Digital Stamps

Prize $6 gift certificate
https://www.janmahew.com/

The optional twist of Silver and Blue has been chosen by Janet, our lovely host for this week.

I used a sweet Sponsor image, Caroling, which I've coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut, the background is a piece of DP (magazine freebie), overlaid with torn vellum with silver print - the snow is layers of ripped mulberry paper, I've added a die cut tree, sentiment and musical notes.

As always, some beautiful creations from the rest of team over at Crafty Catz so do hop over for a visit! Remember the theme is optional- ANYTHING GOES- so please do join in!

Thanks for visiting - have a lovely weekend

Chris

Gorgeous card Chris love the sweet little carol singers.
Christmas is becoming harder, as you said nobody knows what they want anymore and that alone is awful sad, nicer days when the men got either boxed hankys or socks, if they were really lucky a shirt and tie or a bottle of something rather good, dare I say even a carton of cigs....all true but can you imagine the faces now ha ha ha...
Have a good weekend.xx

I just read that on someone else's blog, time is speeding by. A pretty card, another one ready for the seasonal basket.

Totally agree about what to buy, one of the Granddaughter's messages a couple of weeks ago and asked if she was too old to have a wish list (23 and an English teacher), of course not was my answer and was delighted at least one person will get something they really want.

what a gorgeous card with the spirit of Christmas feel, we all have too much these days which is not good. It was much nicer to get gloves and scarf set or hankies in a pretty box, now-a-days they want hundreds of pounds spent on a gift that will soon get put to one side. I have never done expensive gifts, making and baking some of them. xx

This card made me smile instantly, so so gorgeous. I know what you mean about present buying. I am going pjs and money this year for everyone. The family do a secret Santa with each other so that helps too and we put a top limit so nobody is under pressure.
