Whatever the weather at Fab'n' Funky
I chose to make a Christmas card as I'm sadly behind this year, I hate having a last minute panic to get them done, it takes all the fun out of it for me! The cute snowman digi is from QKR Stampede and the background 'snow' lettering is a homemade stencil cut on my (sadly neglected) Cricut machine. I cut the word once on a small piece of card , removed the letters and inked through the negative with Distress Ink, moving the stencil down the card and trying to fade the ink slightly as it got nearer to the snowman. I added die cut snowflakes to the 'O's.
There's more inspiration from my teamies over at Fab'n'Funky and we'd love to see what you make of this challenge!

Think of a number...
The challenge theme this fortnight is 'use numbers' this is the card IO made for my friend's youngest grandson. The stamp is from Uniko, I stamped and embossed it twice , once on dark blue card and once on pale blue, I cut out all of the balloons from the pale blue one (easy because of the embossing) and paper-pieced them onto the dark blue version, which I matted onto silver crackled card. The numbers were die cut from the same silver card. I mounted the panel onto a larger panel of the same dark blue card, stamped and embossed the sentiment to finish.
Please visit the Challenge Blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of my team, we hope you're inspired to join us - just remember to stamp something as well as adding a number!
The dance show was great btw, it was postponed from Christmas because of you-know-what, it's just a small dance school and the shows are very relaxed and fun with all of the pupils from tiny tots in their cute tutus to mature lady tap dancers enjoying taking part. My granddaughters, aged 15 and 12 are learning Street dance, there are 7 girls in their group and they performed 7 different dances- of course they were brilliant!!
Thanks for visiting...must go -the tennis is calling!

Say it with flowers...
Our new challenge at Crafty Catz begins today, Ginny is hosting,
our fabulous sponsor is Sheepski Designs
and the optional twist for this week is 'Say it with Flowers'- you can use the twist- or not,
anything goes at Crafty Catz
I made a CAS card using this cute little elephant- available HERE. I've coloured with Copic markers, masked off the image and stamped some tiny flowers (Lavinia) around him, finished with a stamped sentiment.
I haven't got much done this week- too busy watching the tennis! I'm not a big sports fan, but I do love Wimbledon fortnight!
Thanks for visiting
