Christmas sparkle!

Good morning, it's another Christmas make from me, this time for our new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and is hosted by our lovely Neva. The theme, you've guessed it!, is 'Christmas' (no surprise there then!)

I used a gorgeous stamp from Kraftin Kimmie coloured with copics, loads of glitter added to her garland and the pine cones. The sentiment stamp is part of the same set. I kept the design very simple, layering the die cut frame onto glitter card.

Baby it's cold out...Day 4

Good morning, day 4 of our Christmas in July challenges at Catch the Bug and we have a bingo theme for you. My card features a cute snowman and sentiment from the new release set.

I used the top line of the chart...texture/die cut/sparkle.

I coloured the snowman with copics, then lavishly added Nuvo Glitter drops to his hat, it's very sparkly IRL! He's layered onto the glittery die cut snowflake and a white cardstock square which is embossed with a 'falling snow' EF, can't remember the make!

Baby it's cold out Day 3

Good morning, it's Day 3 of our Christmas in July celebrations at Catch the Bug. For today's challenge I made a simple gift card wallet featuring Snowflake Reindeer silhouette. 

This simple wallet is held closed with a band of embossed silver card. I adhered a silver sparkly ribbon to the band and topped it with the beautiful reindeer which I had printed onto the same silver cardstock and fussy cut. I added a few small gems to the snowflakes for a bit of festive sparkle.

Chin- chin!

Good morning, welcome to the weekend! My first card today is my DT make for this week's challenge at Sweet Stampin'. The theme is distressing/texture. I had fun playing with a brilliant set of stamps from Hobby Art, I LOVE this set! 

I stamped the main image twice, colouring one with copics. I cut the hat from the second image, shaped it with a ball tool and adhered on top of the first image using pinflair glue to add dimension, doesn't show too well in the photo but looks good IRL!. I stamped the moustache, glass and bottle a few times, coloured them and cut them out along with the 'chin chin' banner. The pocket watch is a die cut. The background dp is distressed and inked around the edges.
