Moonlit fairy

Hi, just a quick post from me this evening to share a card I made using a beautiful  rubber stamp I bought from Sweet Pea Stamps some years ago. The artist is Ching-Chou Kuik and the stamp is still available here. I coloured the fairy with cool grey copics and just a touch of blue, the moon behind her with Perfect Pearl paint, it's lovely and shimmery IRL but doesn't look so good in the photo! I then masked the image and inked the background with blue distress ink, adding a touch of the Perfect Pearl round the image of the fairy. The card base is made from 2 circles of dark blue cardstock, the lower one folded in half to make the card stand up. A couple of doilies, some hand rolled dark blue roses, a lily, die cut leaves, a bow, pearl brad and a tiny tag complete my card.  Hope you like it, thanks for calling by and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

  9. Very nice card in which the colors utilized convey a sense of mystery portrayed by the focal image. The fairy is beautiful and and looks pensive...making the viewer want to loo at her longer and try to figure her out. Beautiful and elegant card.
